Youth Programs offers high-quality, developmentally appropriate programming in seven areas: - Character and Leadership Development - Education and Career Development - Health and Life Skills - The Arts - Informal Sports, Fitness, and Recreation - League Youth Sports Program - School Age Program - 4-H Character and Leadership DevelopmentCharacter and leadership development and program activities are offered which encourage youths to support and influence the youth program, base, school, and community; sustain meaningful relationships with others; develop a positive self-image; learn about and participate in the democratic process; and respect their own and others’ cultural identities. - AF Youth of the Year - Keystone Club - Torch Club Education and Career DevelopmentActivities are offered to help youths become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations, and use technology to optimize school success and employability - Project Learn - Youth Employment - Computer Labs / Club Tech - Community Service Projects - Instructional Classes - Congressional Award - Presidential Service Award - Power Hour Health and Life SkillsPrograms and activities are offered to develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their well being, set personal goals, and develop the competencies to live successfully as self-sufficient adults. - Smart Moves - Life Skills Classes - Cooking Club - Smart Girls - Passport to Manhood The ArtsPrograms and activities are offered to enable youths to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts, performing arts, and creative writing. - Fine Arts Competition - Digital Arts Competition - Photography Competition - Missoula Children’s Theater - Craft Club Informal Sports, Fitness, and RecreationPrograms and activities are offered to help youth develop their fitness and appreciation for the environment; make positive use of leisure time; and learn stress management, social, and interpersonal skills. - Operation Night Hoops - Triple Play Clubs - Triple Play Daily Challenges - Intramural Team Sports League Youth Sports ProgramA variety of organized and league youth sports activities are offered for both boys and girls. - Start Smart School Age ProgramThe School Age Care Program has been designed to encourage growth, socialization, and learning in an environment that is conducive to our children’s development. The “Clubhouse” rooms are designated into “ interest areas” incorporating drama, construction, creative arts, science, computer, library and writing into your child’s daily activities. Our dedicated and professional staff continually work to challenge the children with new and thrilling activities both indoors and outdoors. Our goal is to serve military personnel and civilian employees by providing a caring, positive environment for their children.
