Character and Leadership Development

Character and leadership development and program activities are offered which encourage youths to support and influence the youth program, base, school, and community; sustain meaningful relationships with others; develop a positive self-image; learn about and participate in the democratic process; and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.

The Arts

Programs and activities are offered to enable youths to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts, performing arts, and creative writing.

Informal Sports, Fitness, and Recreation

Programs and activities are offered to help youth develop their fitness and appreciation for the environment; make positive use of leisure time; and learn stress management, social, and interpersonal skills.

League Youth Sports Program

A variety of organized and league youth sports activities are offered for both boys and girls.  These activities are conducted following the National Standards for Youth Sports.

School Age Program

The School Age Care Program has been designed to encourage growth, socialization, and learning in an environment that is conducive to our children’s development.  The “Clubhouse” rooms are designated into “ interest areas” incorporating drama, construction, creative arts, science, computer, library and writing into your child’s daily activities.  Our dedicated and professional staff continually work to challenge the children with new and thrilling activities both indoors and outdoors.  Our goal is to serve military personnel and civilian employees by providing a caring, positive environment for their children. 4-H

 4-H is the youth education branch of the Cooperative Extension Service, a program of the United States Department of Agriculture.  Each state and each county has access to a County Extention Office for both youth and adult programs.  4-H:  Developing all youth to reach their fullest potential Through:

- Developing life skills

- Learning by doing

-Utilizing the knowledge of the land-grant university system

 

4-H enables youth to have fun, meet new people, learn new life skills, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, and set and achieve goals!
